We know you’re busy with a million things. Help has arrived with new shortcuts throughout the email and page editors.

Style shortcuts for images

In the Styles tab, there’s now an easier way to set width and alignment for images.

  • Quickly resize images with our new slider tool
This replaces the need to set Max Width. The Max Width field will automatically populate with the pixel width that is set with the top slider.

  • Quickly set horizontal alignment of smaller images
This replaces the need to add auto code to the Spacing section. The horizontal alignment UI will automatically populate the correct code in the Spacing fields below.

  • You can set different pixel widths and alignments for Global and Mobile styles

Image dimensions and file sizes

The smaller the total email size, the better.

Emails with optimized images and fewer content blocks download more quickly and are less likely to be clipped by Gmail. We’re now displaying image file sizes and dimensions to help you aim for a lower total email file size.

  • When viewing an image, you’ll see the dimensions and file size below the Image source label
  • We’ll let you know when...
    • Image size exceeds 250 KB
    • Image height/width is larger than 1500 pixels
  • This is only for information purposes. You are not required to make changes.

To reduce the dimensions and file size of large, non-animated images, follow these steps.

Styles tab updates

  • Horizontal alignment shortcut
In the Spacing section, we added one-click icons for setting the alignment of smaller blocks and images. Clicking one will automatically populate the correct `auto` code in the Spacing fields above.

  • New keyboard shortcut
Styles from custom blocks can sometimes be hard to override due to how CSS cascading works. Adding !important to the style input field can help. We added a shortcut, so you don’t have to type it. This can be used in any style input field where styles are stubbornly persisting.

    Command + Shift + I — Mac
    Control + Shift + I — PC

More improvements + fixes

  • Workflow Builder
Now showing a red error icon when two If Conditions end up next to each other because of deleting. This was preventing workflows from being tested.

  • Altru Integration
Added a Test button to confirm that the service user and ad-hoc query are set up correctly
