What’s new: August/September 2025

SMS is now available to all WordFly customers, including the USA and Canada! Send personalized messages up to 320 characters, send SMS responses back to your CRM, and more.

Also new: SMS automation!

Create automated SMS campaigns and customer journeys
 

Go to SMS > SMS Workflows to set up an automated campaign. Send one automated message or chain multiple messages together. You can send to a list or trigger an SMS workflow based on any data in your CRM, just like a triggered email campaign.

Updates to make SMS campaigns even easier:

• SMS > Messages
  You can now go to SMS > Messages to create a message outside of a campaign. Enables you to duplicate messages or re-use an existing message across multiple campaigns.
   
• SMS Campaigns > Message step
  Added option to "Select a different message" from the Messages grid
   
• SMS Campaigns grid
  Added new columns and filters to reflect addition of SMS workflows
   
• Subscribers > SMS Lists
  Mapping the Email field is no longer required when importing an SMS list outside of a campaign
  
   

Editor updates for accessibility and more
 

• Set language in the Settings tab
  Use this dropdown to select the dominant language used in your email or page. This helps assistive technologies recognize your text. It does not translate your content. LANG=EN is set by default.

  
   

• Blocks tab > Three Column blocks
  By request from Jamie O'Brien at New42! We added 40-40-20, 20-40-40, 40-20-40 percentages for more flexibility with three-column blocks. To see them, create a brand new email from one of our starter emails.

  
  
   

• Behind the scenes code
  We are now adding role=presentation to our editor Table code. This ARIA label tells assistive technologies that the table is used for layout purposes instead of for presenting data.
   
• Stylesheet tab
  Removed Font Size and Line-Height from the OL/UL style menu. Set in the LI instead for better results.

List import updates
 

We improved the experience of uploading and importing very large subscriber list files. After you browse to your file and click I'm Done, wait a few moments, then you can view the percentage of the file that has been uploaded.

• Imported files must be smaller than 120 MB. If larger, save out as smaller, individual files.
• Data field mapping: Fixed issue where Save button didn't show when data field dropdown had fields with really long names
• Fixed issue where data fields did not update when a subscriber had more than 250 associated data fields
