WordFly's integration with Tessitura includes a custom screen that can be set up on the constituent record and allows all team members to see the actual email and email responses on the constituent record. We call this feature Box Office Insights since it is particularly helpful to staff fielding phone calls, general emails and front of house conversations with patrons. If a patron mentions an email they received in correspondence, the staff can review a copy of the email the subscriber received and see the open, click and other response activity generated by the patron on any email.

Email us for instructions on setting up the custom screen in Tessitura.
The WordFly custom screen (Box Office Insights) is accessed on the constituent record in Tessitura via the Custom tab.
WordFly users can login to see customer data. Team members who do not have WordFly access can use a general login you can create in WordFly for Box Office Insights, go to Account > Users to set up a general user with no permissions.
Once the custom screen is accessed, you can instantly see:
- 5 of the most recent Standard Email Campaigns that have been sent to the subscriber
- 5 of the most recent Triggered Campaigns that have been sent to the subscriber
- Type of email Campaign the subscriber received (Standard or Triggered)
- Date and time the email Campaign was sent from WordFly
Click on Preview...
This renders a version of the email that the patron received! This will show any personalization in the email like First name, Last name, Performance date, etc.
Click on View activity...
This shows all the email response activity generated by the subscriber for this email. You will see opens, clicks, and opt-outs here. You will also see the email client for the patron.
A common issue in the database set up that some users experience is this error message:
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_TR_CUSTOM_TAB_1__15'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.TR_CUSTOM_TAB'. The duplicate key value is (1).
This means the script is trying to insert a new row in TR_Custom_Tab for ID 1 but that ID is already allocated.
To resolve: Update your script ([id to the next available new row then run the script again.
The only other reported issue with the Tessitura custom screen appeared if the email was hand-coded and missing the <DOCTYPE> declaration in the email template header will only load the first 150 pixels. It sort of looked something like this...
To resolve, add this specific to your email header:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr">
