WordFly might warn that your Organization Name + Postal Address needs to be reviewed during the email testing process. Let’s review what you need to know.
Template Review: Organization Name and Postal Address warning
In your in progress email campaign, the Testing tab > Template Review section will help you make sure all the small details of your email are checked off. The Organization Name and Postal Address is one of those details because it is required in every email to meet WordFly Terms and Acceptable Use Policy as well as United States CAN-SPAM law and Canada’s CASL law.
For the Organization Name and Postal Address test, WordFly checks your Account > Email Settings and searches your email template for similar information. Your name and address content can be anywhere in your email template for a match to be found, even partial words will count. If Account > Email Settings is blank, any address will error because there is no text to compare it to.
A green check means the Organization Name and Postal Address matches the full organization and postal address from best practices content from Account > Email Settings (ignoring whitespace).
A yellow warning means the Organization Name and Postal Address matched some of the full organization and postal address content from Account > Email Settings.
A red warning means the Organization Name and Postal Address matched none of the full organization or postal address content from Account > Email Settings.
While yellow and red warnings should be checked, you can proceed with sending if you determine the Organization Name and Postal Address is present and correct. Your email design might have all the same information, but it may be present slightly differently.
